The Parks Foundation of Clark County needed a thorough assessment of its website’s user experience to better serve its community and stakeholders.

Through cross-functional collaboration, user research, and detailed analysis, I led a team that developed actionable recommendations to enhance the website’s functionality and align it with the organization’s mission.

Role

Project Manager

  • Led cross-functional teams to compile a usability guidelines and recommendations report.
  • Defined clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for each team member.
  • Created a content development strategy for formulating usability guidelines.
  • Developed the project schedule and team workflows.
  • Produced the sitemap, content structure, and prototypes.
  • Mentored team members on user experience requirements.
  • Conducted user research and analyzed testing data to create user personas.
  • Translated collected data into wireframe and user flow recommendations.
  • Wrote and edited content for the final document.

Project Scope

Multiple phases of research, analysis, and strategic planning:

Research & Analysis

  • Conducted stakeholder interviews to align project goals with organizational objectives.
  • Proposed a complete overhaul of the PFCC website, including revised navigation and site structure for improved user experience.
  • Audited the existing website to identify optimization opportunities and new feature recommendations.

Prototyping & Development

  • Developed desktop and mobile prototypes reflecting stakeholder and user preferences, with clear visual hierarchy for each main section.
  • Created wireframes and prototypes demonstrating improved information architecture and user flows.
  • Defined a testing plan for the development stage to validate functionality, usability, and content relevance.
  • Assessed all existing pages to compile a comprehensive inventory of issues to address in the redesign.

Strategy & Optimization

  • Produced a detailed social media engagement proposal covering channel analysis, SWOT analysis, buyer personas, and campaign development.
  • Developed SEO recommendations to drive traffic through keyword targeting, title tags, and a crawlable link structure.
